90min 1:1 Reiki

Service Description

Reiki is a pathway to self mastery. A modality for those with an open mind and curiosity. This is a still practice, like a meditation. Your only role is to be present and perhaps hold some gentle breath awareness. You will be positioned comfortably on a massage table with your choice to be in savasana (lying flat on your back). Note: If lying in one position for 90mins is not possible, flipping to your belly or sitting in a chair is also an option. Reiki can translate to "Universal energy" It's a modality that originated in Japan in the 1920s, created by Master Mikao Usui, a spiritual seeker who developed the energy healing system after a profound meditative experience on Mount Kurama. A Reiki practitioner has been passed on the attunement of this transformation healing system. Your Reiki practitioner does not give you energy or take it away. They become present in a meditation like state guided by higher wisdom and become a channel for energy which offers the body, mind and spirit pathways to return to balance and harmony. In this session there will be time for discussion so we can create an aligned intension- Why do you feel the call to Reiki? What places in the body or areas of life need attention?. The personalised session follows and then we close the container and have an integrated chat about what unfolded. Why receive Reiki? Are there any risks? No. Reiki (universal energy) flows and moves for our highest good. When that intension is present and pure, nothing harmful can occur.
