Born a farm girl and raised in Rural Mackay QLD, she grew her down to earth, hard working roots into expansive, long reaching branches of leadership, community wellness, sovereignty, compassion and spiritual connection.

Chontelle describes being initiated into this path like a trial by fire. She raised herself out of broken home and was determined to make life feel like the home she always craved. One step at a time, all adversity along the way made for a stronger trunk. Some including severe mental health challenges from age 10, living between friends in high school while her primary caregiver navigated cancer and healing from a broken pelvis and spine from a car accident at 19. She’d seen so much of life's darkness before becoming an adult which ignited a flame to live fully and unapologetically. After school, although top of every class with her choice of options into university, she chose to study a certificate in Outdoor Recreation at TAFE, to live life amongst nature and people. Hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, abseiling and mountain biking were some of the activities she was guiding school children and adults through, although really she was guiding them into deeper self discovery.

Yoga and meditation had become a sacred tool to integrate, process and love all of life's wonderful fluctuations. It wasn’t long before Chontelle heard the call to teach these practices to others. Since then, she’s studied and passed on many ancient and modern day teachings such as Reiki, Yoga, ZenThai Shiatsu, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Pilates. Her self policy is staying open and curious about all of life’s possibilities and mysteries and how she can play best her part in this wild and magical life with integrity and devotion to love and light.

Meet Marcel

Conscious Commercial Business Owner

Raised by two German parents in Darwin, Northern Territory, Marcel later settled in Mount Coolum on the Sunshine Coast in 2007. He was fortunate to live in two very different places in the world: the beautiful warm east coast of Australia and the crisp, cold north of Germany. These two polar opposites gave him a unique life experience. Spending so much time between nations, Marcel developed a deep understanding of the different textures of cultures. Travelling so much from a young age gave him valuable perspective on how humans operate and communicate.

During his formative years, his parents owned multiple businesses. The first was a commercial catering business in Darwin. As two immigrants building a life in Australia, they worked long hours and employed people from all walks of life. Marcel was constantly surrounded by diverse groups and individuals. At the time he also had an Indonesian nanny, and her home was often filled with children of many different nationalities — further deepening his early understanding of different cultures and ways of life. As we are all in this journey of growth together.

In his early twenties, Marcel opened and operated his own business. Although he had the systems down, he began yearning for something more — something he truly loved. Having always lived an active, movement-oriented lifestyle and spending a great deal of time in athletic sports and body movement, he was searching for deeper meaning.

When he first connected with Chontelle, she was in the midst of the ZenThai process. Authentic, grounded, radiating unconditional love — a truly beautiful being. The awe.

As time passed, the universe presented an opportunity like no other. Meeting Gwyn at a ripe moment in his life allowed this new path to flourish. For the first time, Marcel was able to lean into something fresh — something far greater than bodywork alone. It was a full opening of body, mind, and self. ZenThai became that perfect mixture of connection, practice, and compassion — all the elements he most values in the human experience. Above all: people.
